Who are we, and what are we about?

Founded by college students — your next-door neighbors — looking for the work you need done but don't have time for. Today, Contractors Club opens that same community idea to independent local providers across more trades. Read our story →

Services

Explore common project categories.

Tell us what you need. We may share a request with independent providers based on the category, location and details you provide. Experience, licensing and insurance information is self-reported unless a specific item is expressly marked verified.

01

Landscaping

Yard cleanup, planting, maintenance, irrigation and outdoor projects.

02

Repairs

Small repairs, punch lists, assembly and general project help.

03

Painting

Interior and exterior preparation, painting and finishing.

04

Hauling

Material delivery, debris removal, moving and job-site cleanup.

05

Carpentry

Fences, decks, trim, shelving and custom wood projects.

06

Specialty trades

Licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other regulated work.

Our ethos

Quick. Quiet. Considerate.

We started out choosing rakes over leaf blowers — keeping mornings peaceful, dust down, and the neighborhood dynamic respected. Homes are sanctuaries for study and rest, and the work around them should honor that.

Make it part of your request

Care about low-noise methods, careful cleanup, or working around nap times and night shifts? Say so when you post your project. Independent providers set their own approach and pricing, and you can discuss those preferences directly before hiring.

How it works

A better introduction, from first idea to finished project.

We make the first connection easier. Providers remain independent, set their own terms and contract directly with project owners.

01

Describe the project

Tell us what needs doing, where it is and when you would like to begin.

02

Meet local providers

We review the request and help relevant independent providers discover it.

03

Choose for yourself

Compare experience, references, licensing and insurance, then hire directly.

Kind words
“They do just about every landscape issue I can throw at them: lighting, planting, watering, clean up, drip systems, removing leaves from rain gutters. Hardworking, trustworthy, eager to learn, meticulous — and always on time.”
Angela Contreras

Trust is a process

Introductions are only the beginning.

For project owners

Check identity, references, licensing, insurance and written terms. Never send full payment before work begins. Use applicable permits and appropriately licensed trades.

For providers

Represent qualifications accurately, document scope and changes, follow local requirements, protect customer information and communicate delays promptly.

Our role

Contractors Club facilitates introductions. We do not employ providers, perform work, set prices, guarantee outcomes or replace your own due diligence.

The founding story

From college crews to a broader local network.

Contractors Club began as College Contractors Club, connecting neighbors with motivated college students for landscaping and home projects — founded in Pasadena, California, and carried all the way up to Alaska. The next chapter opens that community idea to independent local providers across more trades. Read our story →

Common questions

Before you post or apply.

Does Contractors Club perform the work?

No. Contractors Club facilitates introductions between project owners and independent providers.

Are all providers licensed and insured?

Requirements vary by trade and location. Provider statements are collected during application, but project owners must independently verify credentials before hiring.

How much does it cost?

Submitting a project or provider application is currently free. Any future fees will be disclosed before they apply.

Where is the service available?

Project and provider submissions are accepted across the United States. The number and type of participating providers will vary by location, so an introduction may not be available for every request.
